My Summer Bucket List

There are a few things if like to be able to cross off of my bucket list for this summer. I must say, I have been making a lot of lists lately. That’s mad even for me! A few of these night seem a little childish so I’m blaming it on my inner child. Haha. I love watching cartoons and Disney movies anyway so they’ll fly.

The List:

Eat a macaroon. I’ve yet to try these but they look absolutely amazing. They look like they’d just melt in your mouth.

Find a strawberry patch. I think there is one not too terribly far from my house.

Make some mouth watering strawberry jam with the strawberries I picked.

Make homemade ice cream. I don’t know what kinds yet. Maybe even make an ice cream cake with this yummy homemade ice cream.

Go on a walk in a town I’ve never been before.

Stop being afraid and actually going to a blogger met up. I know it sounds weird and I would y say scared, more like anxious. I love meeting and talking to people but… What if the meeties don’t like me? Haha. Yeah…..

Roast Marshmallows – possibly by a bonfire.

Dip my toes in the Atlantic Ocean at least twice, even if only for a day.

Enjoy my friends more. I don’t see my friends as much as I’d like. I miss them.

Do a little stargazing. My ex got me into this. It’s so pretty!

I’d love to go on a picnic in historical downtown Wake Forest. It’s so beautiful around there. If love to share it with you guys.

Eat a foil dinner from the grill. These smell delish but I’m too timid to eat pork & that’s usually what’s cooking.

Fly a kite. Do you know I haven’t done this since I was a little girl. I still remember my favorite kite with my uncle. He died not too long after that.

Stay in my pj’s ALL day one day. That sounds so relaxing & these 6 day work weeks would make that awesome.

Make at least 1 craft before the summer is over.

Complete the project I’ve been tinkering with. I’m actually really excited about this one! I’ll be sharing with you guys

What do you have on your bucket list for this beautiful summer?

  2. You know…I haven’t created a bucket list. Actually, ever in life. This seems do-able though. A summer (season/month/year) bucket list. I just might be able to muster something up 🙂

Whaow that’s a fantastic list, I especially like eating a dinner in foil from the grill, personally have done, makes meat very tender. My dream is to one day splash around the water of the Atlantic too. I’ve only been to the beaches on the Pacific.

There are so many great things on your list! I LOVE strawberries so I think I should add strawberry picking onto my summer list! They are my “happy” food. lol! I think it would be a lot of fun to go to a blogger event too, but I’m an awkward person so I feel like I would feel too weird to talk to anyone. haha

Haha I think my happy food could be strawberries too, I absolutely love them. Yeah, I think it would be odd to force conversations, ya know. Haha that’s why I’ve never gone. I’m socially timid.

I am voting for strawberry cheesecake ice cream! Though you may be overloaded with strawberries already, lol. Good luck with making jam. I really want to try making my own.

  10. What a great list! Unfortunately I am taking 3 classes in order to graduate at the end of summer, so I don’t have a whole lot of time to enjoy summer. At least I can make a fall list when I have more free time!

Your bucket is obviously really large! 🙂 so many fun things you have lined up. I want to just spend a day reading whatever I want – not for work, not because I have a deadline, just to read for pleasure. p.s. macaroons are very yummy indeed!

  14. That’s an awesome list! I honestly haven’t even thought about it. We are going to have family here for most of the summer…I think I am just going to let things happen on their own. But I am going to try to relax more! And take more “me” time. Those are two things I am notoriously bad at.

I’m totally with you on the macaroon and roasted marshmallows. Yummy!!! As for ‘dipping your toes in the Atlantic Ocean’…I say ‘Go For It!’ Better yet, dip your entire body into the salt water, it is one of the best feelings in the world. I live in Trinidad and I’m just a tad bit addicted to the ocean. LOL

Visiting from SITS. Enjoy your weekend. 🙂
