Since I’ve started working out regularly I’m using my earbuds a lot. It seems that when I get in my stride is when my buds like to tangle and twist which in return causes them to be pulled on my ear leaving them sore after awhile.
I was approached by an awesome team who provided me with a free pair of CordSkinz (lavender) in exchange for a review. I will say I was a tiny bit skeptical at first. I said “how can anything stop the tangling of my ear buds?” forgetting I was in public I got a few answers from fellow by standers saying “you’ll have to deal with it. We all just have to deal with it.”. After very politely correcting the gentleman I clicked over to the CordSkinz page to check them out. I then found out that these skinz come in a lot of different colors, & they help protect the the cord. I like to color coordinate even when I’m doing yoga, jogging, or walking & with all the colors for only $9.99 each I could get one of every color.
I pointed to the guy that told me I’d simple have to deal with it and told him about it. It was like killing 2 birds with 1 stone (no birds were harmed in the writing of this post).
It’s really easy to put the CordSkinz on too. They include a nifty little tool for this purpose. I have the apple earbuds with the mouthpiece & the skin whizzed right by it (I can still talk with my ear buds in and the person on the other end can hear me with no interruption) & onto the rest of the cord. After my cord was covered I had a good 4 inches left of the Cordskin. I didn’t want to waste it so after I was done covering both my earbud cords I used the left over skin to cover the cord that plugs into my phone.

Facebook. I love my skinz and I got my brother a black skin for his buds so I don’t have to hear him complaint when we’re jogging.
