I’m certainly glad last week is over and I’m looking forward to the start of a new week! Last week brought rain & migraines so maybe this week will be sunshine & puppies. It’s Monday once again, so grab your coffee!

C U R R E N T L Y . . .

R E A D I N G “Mr. Mercedes” by Stephen King. I must admit it started off slow but it’s picked up and I can’t wait to finish it for the out come.

W R I T I N G a few work notes for Tuesdays meeting.

L I S T E N I N G to the different voices and sounds coming from the hallway as things start to get busier with advisors checking in clients & the cashiers talk about their weekends amongst themselves.

T H I N K I N G If I really want to change the name of this blog or not. I can’t quite decide! I need help, I feel like “crafty” should mean I do more crafts and DIY’s. I’d love to I just don’t have the time to do them right now. If it were you what would you do? I haven’t really started a brand for this very reason too.

S M E L L I N G This yummy Suisse Mocha (by Maxwell House) that is delightfully flowing from my reusable Starbucks cup. It’s making me very happy.

W I S H I N G that 2016 will surprise me. I know we are only 2 months in, but a change would be like a breath of fresh air.

H O P I N G to sleep at least 8 hours tonight. It’s turned out for the past few nights insomnia likes to hang around & make me think and rethink all of the questions I have, what I can do to fix things, what I could do to adjust the things not broken to make them better. Oh & I can’t forget contemplating the pro’s & con’s of owning a handsome pet fox (I can’t find any con’s).

W E A R I N G a crimson sweater dress, black leggings, & brown heeled boots. I forgot my earrings but made sure you couldn’t see through my leggings today.

L O V I N G Hershey’s “Pot of Gold” chocolate. I’m a Ghirardelli kind of girl but yesterday a friend gave me a piece of his “Pot of Gold” chocolates and I picked up a box on the way home. Which means more cardio for me this week!

W A N T I N G for my anxiety to subside. I don’t even care if it all didn’t completely go away, just enough so I can have a normal day and be comfortable in my own skin, not having a panic attack this week would be excellent.

N E E D I N G hmmm, I don’t really think I need anything at this moment. Other than another Suisse Mocha, the tank is almost empty.

F E E L I N G meh, it’s still early. I haven’t really had any time to feel anything yet. Ha. It is Monday that can change at the drop of a pen.

What have you been up to lately?

  1. Hoping 2016 pleasantly surprises you!

  2. It sounds like your mind is going five ways at once. I can relate. Keep writing and you will find the direction for your blog, and that will assist you with creating your brand.

When I saw the name of your blog, I didn’t necessarily think “crafty” meant DIY. But if you find a title you really like better, that it really clicks, then go for it.

I am reading The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. It started with a slow story, but it’s unputdownable now. Love when a book takes such turn!!!!

Haha, thanks lovie. I think I’m going to keep it, like I said I thought of the name before I thought of the blog. I’m loving this book, of course with Stephen King it’s very graphically written. I hope you and the family are having a great day!

I’m hoping to sleep for more than 8 hours of sleep myself since I tore my tendon in my left ankle; it’s been a struggle because of the pain. I hope your Tuesday is getting better for you!

  14. I love Stephen King! Most of his books start out slow then get really good. I’ve been watching Haven on Netflix. It’s based on the book “The Colorado Kid” by Stephen King. Hope this week is going better for you!

  15. Mistle says:

I’m currently reading Why Not Me. I have so many books I want to read. I wish I had more time to read! I’ve been trying to go to bed earlier this week so I am not as tired. 8+ hrs a night for me is a must. Hoping that 2016 brings something exciting for you! Also I do not think that your blog name means that you do crafts, etc. I hope you find a name that suits your blog if you change it.

  16. Angie Scheie says:

I’ve wavered on my blog’s name before too. It feels like SUCH a big deal! I hope you get your 8 hours of sleep in and that it rolls over into less anxiety for you! xo
